I am going to share with you my own method of creating collages in Adobe Fresco in this class Digital Mixed Media Collage in Adobe Fresco. That’s when I took the plunge and bought a new iPad. It was time to find a more spontaneous and intuitive way to work!

But the process could become unwieldly and time consuming. I would meticulously scan and composite these images in Photoshop to create large abstract artwork that I have successfully licensed and sold around the world. As a graphic designer, creating collages and mixed media art became an efficient and satisfying method of making complex visuals to use in my art licensing/graphic design creative process. Through this practice of producing art on an daily basis, I gained the knowledge and confidence to express myself and develop my artistic voice. I used that practice for learning about the power of mistakes and imperfection, intuitive creation, exploring styles and much more. I had learned Procreate several years ago, but had stopped using it in favour of a hands-on art journal practice.

I wanted to explore this personal creativity while learning two iPad apps : Procreate and Adobe Fresco. The recently used brushes feature helps keep track of all the brushes a user has used in their creative profile for easy selection again.I recently re-introduced a daily art practice into my life as a way to deal with what I call “being a funk”. It can be difficult for users to recall the brushes they used when they started painting months ago.

Just designate the linework as the reference layer, then select another layer to create, and the fill tool will automatically create based on the contents of the reference layer. This function can distinguish between the line art layer and the fill layer. In addition, Adobe has compiled 4 of the most popular features of users. Liquify tools make small or large adjustments to your work: Users can now push, pull, twist, shrink, or inflate specific areas on Fresco using the usual Liquify tools found in Photoshop. The Magic Wand tool helps users quickly select an area of a work and make dynamic fine-tuning that specifically focuses on a specific range of work. In the Fresco 3.6 version in May, Adobe also added two new functions, “Magic Wand” and “Liquify Tool”, to help users experience using Fresco.
